FAQ
Got a question about the artwork, the films, or Bob himself? Here are the ones we're asked most often. If yours isn't here, get in touch using the email address at the bottom of the page.
Are you releasing a Blu-ray of GREAT?
We're aiming for a release before the end of 2026. Follow our Facebook page for updates as we get closer. We're no longer taking orders for the Blu-ray at this time.
Will GREAT be added to BG Player?
Eventually, yes. If BG Player goes well, we plan to add GREAT to the lineup, though for now we're holding it back for a few years, to give everyone who's bought the Blu-ray something special of their own.
Can I watch BG Player on my TV?
Yes. BG Player works in any browser, so you can cast it to a bigger screen using AirPlay on Apple devices or Google Cast on Chromecast, straight from your phone, tablet or laptop. Just open BG Player in Safari or Chrome and use your device's screen mirroring or cast button, the same as you would for any other website.
Is the artwork genuine?
Yes. Every piece sold here is genuine, hand-drawn production artwork from Bob Godfrey Films: either an original 1974 Roobarb title-sequence drawing, or a 1990s re-draw personally signed by Bob Godfrey. Each piece comes with a certificate of authenticity.
What's the difference between an "original" and a "re-draw"?
Originals are hand-drawn production artwork actually used in the 1974 Roobarb title sequence. Re-draws are pieces Bob Godfrey drew and signed in the 1990s, recreating scenes from the series. They're genuine hand-drawn artwork by Bob Godfrey himself, but produced later and not used on-screen.
Do prices include VAT?
Yes, all prices shown include VAT. There's nothing extra to pay at checkout beyond shipping (see below).
How do I pay, and is it secure?
Add a piece to your cart with the Add to Cart button, then use Cart (top right) to check out. Payment and checkout are handled securely by e-junkie, a third-party checkout provider, and we never see or store your card details.
How is my artwork shipped, and how much does it cost?
Each piece is carefully packaged to protect the artwork in transit. Shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address. Contact us before ordering if you'd like a quote in advance.
Can I return a piece?
All artwork sales are final, so get in touch before ordering if you have any questions about a specific piece. We're happy to help you choose. Contact us using the email address at the bottom of the page.
Can I license images or film clips from the collection?
Yes. Images and film clips from Bob Godfrey Films are available to license: get in touch using the email address in the footer to discuss your project. We're also happy to support screenings of the films. Our standard fee is £150 + VAT per screening, which covers a single, one-time public viewing, and we provide a DCP.
